Convergence of parallel light rays

Three parallel light rays pass through a rectangular block and a convex lens. Then they converge to a point X as shown.




If the block is now rotated anticlockwise, the outgoing rays from the block are displaced upwards as shown. How does the position of X change?




A. It moves upwards.

B. It moves downwards.

C. It remains unchanged.
